Twisted Glamour is passionate about creating unique accessories. The initial collection comprises of headpieces, hair accessories and corsages. There are many pieces that you can buy off the peg (or the dining table in this case) or you can choose a custom design. Most pieces can be created in a wide variety of colours, as a variation on a current item, or as a design that is uniquely yours! The finishing touches make the outfit, whether you are a bride, part of a wedding party or a wedding guest. Perhaps you're going to the races (Ascot for example), a ball, garden party, prom or any other type of special occasion, or maybe you're just going out for the day and want that little extra something. Take a look at the current collection or use the contact form to start designing your perfect accessory.
A little about me
I'm Cathy and I'm a 30 something London dweller. I have always worked in the design arena but this is a completely new venture for me. I was made redundant and decided that it could be time for me to leave the world of web development and find something that I actually feel passionate about. But what would that be – the world was literally my lobster! After soul searching and poring over Pinterest for inspiration, I stumbled upon the idea for giving pretty floral accessories an edgy and lasting twist. I've loved making things since I was a small child and gave home-made gifts to my numerous extended family members. When I was around 11, I went on a Girl Guide camp and one of our activities was to make flowers out of wire. That idea obviously stuck in my mind as I used the same technique for a GCSE art project, which still resides in my parents house many years later (alongside a pottery Mrs. Tiggywinkle). This is how Twisted Glamour came into existence. I bought enough supplies to create a few flowers to see if I could actually make something worthwhile, felt incredibly proud of my creation so set off on my new journey. A friend soon asked me to create something especially for her and we were both happy with the end result. I really enjoy what I do and I am quite meticulous (my art teachers at school always commented on my sometimes slow, but particular creations). I am perfectly happy to sit making flowers into the small hours. I enjoy making things that come from daily inspiration. I also enjoy a good challenge and I'm excited to be able to make a custom item that's unique and perfect for you when the opportunity arises.
I hope that people love my accessories as much as I love to make them and I look forward to making many more special accessories.
